In the 2023 Legislative session Assembly Bill 125 (AB125) a bill addressing murdered and missing Indigenous peoples (MMIP) was passed and instituted in July of the same year.
As part of the bill the Nevada State Police Investigation Division was tasked with compiling statistical data for missing and murdered indigenous peoples in the state of Nevada. This has been a daunting and difficult task to collect accurate data and is still on going. It was noted as the data was being compiled there was nowhere that a list of Nevada’s currently missing indigenous people was viewable to the public. Hence the creation of this web page. The State’s goal is to bring attention to these MMIP cases in hopes that it will help them be solved. The Investigation Division cannot investigate MMIP cases.
If you know of anyone that has been reported missing or murdered to law enforcement and you would like their information included on this page, please email
