Nevada State Police, Investigation Division in partnership with Nevada Indian Tribes and Tribal Communities, Tribal Organizations, and Urban Indian Organizations are providing information related to Missing and Murdered Indigenous Persons (MMIP) within Nevada.
The mission of this partnership is to bring attention to open MMIP cases, assist law enforcement agencies in their investigation, identify persons of interest, successfully locate missing individuals, and bring closure in cases related to human trafficking or murder.
Through this partnership the Division aims to increase awareness, communication, and joint operations focused on MMIP within Nevada and by sharing case information, decrease the volume of open and or unsolved cases in the interest of justice and public safety.
